  1.                         LIGHT BEAM CONTROLS

  3. The width of the light beam is controlled by the knobs on the side of the lamp arm nearest the bottom.

  5. To move the light beam to the side of the 
  6. field of view as when using sclerotic scatter 
  7. or indirect illumination, the knob on the 
  8. back-lower part of the light tower is 
  9. loosened.  Turn the light tower by the base 
  10. of the tower which has the beam with 
  11. control.

  13. The light tower can also be tilted forward 
  14. by releasing the latch between the two light 
  15. beam with controls and tilting the tower.  
  16. The latch allows 5 degree increments of tilt.  
  17. This control can be useful for gonioscopy 
  18. and fundus examination.
